Adelaide Atletico VSC was founded in November 2020 with a clear purpose: to create opportunities through football for everyone. The club was born from a desire to establish a genuine pathway for all-abilities football, supported by the shared ambition of former professional footballer Marcos Flores. Initially formed as an inclusion-focused program for players with disabilities, including cerebral palsy, the club quickly expanded, with recreational junior and amateur teams organically forming ahead of its debut season in 2021.From the outset, the vision was simple: football without limits, for anyone who wants to play.

Originally formed as Adelaide Atletico FC, the club evolved through a 2025 merger to become Adelaide Atletico VSC, reflecting its continued growth and expanding football pathway structure. Now in 2026, with 40+ teams and over 500 members, Adelaide Atletico VSC delivers football across Adelaide’s north and north-east, from all-abilities and inclusion football, to MiniRoos, recreational junior, men’s and women’s teams, and emerging elite pathways within Football South Australia competitions, including State League 1 football.

Our club remains driven by the life lessons, resilience, and passion of our inclusion program, built on a #LetsJustPlay mentality and a genuine love for the game. This spirit is reflected across everything we do and continues to shape our culture on and off the field, both as players and as people.
